Alana Godin

A fresh talent to the fine art world, Alana has always found creativity at her core.  Spending the past couple of decades as an Interior Designer, Alana discovered her hidden talent for painting during the 2020 pandemic quarantine.  Experimenting first with watercolours, she quickly moved into the richer hues of acrylic paints and hasn’t looked back.

It wasn’t long after discovering her love for painting that art lovers began to notice and were collecting her work or commissioning her to do a custom piece.  She then began to exhibit her work in galleries on Vancouver Island, BC and has expanded west to Blu Dog Art Gallery in Oakville, Ontario.

A West Coast native, Alana raised her children on the Lower Mainland and now resides on the rolling mountainside of Departure Bay, Nanaimo.  On any given day, Alana can be found teasing a new canvas to life in her home studio.
