Helene Caron
Hélène Caron was born in Laval and currently resides in Blainville, Quebec. Visual arts have been part of the artist's life since childhood.
Her art is known for its vibrant colours, technique and subjects that leave no one indifferent. The contemporary realism of her work defines with remarkable accuracy the balance between the animal, the textures of the work and the excitement generated by her subject. Hélène's works always feeds curiosity and sensitivity for those who watch as her animals have profound glances that speak to you, scrutinize you, question you.
Hélène loves to marry contemporary and abstract figurative. Her creative work is based on a mixed technique on wood or canvas. She uses acrylic paint as well as oil sticks, china markers, aerosol paint and different texture gels or mortar to add relief. She uses a technique of application with knives, spatulas and scraping of the canvas.
Since 2010, Hélène has devoted herself entirely to her art. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Quebec and Ontario and has received several awards of distinction. Her works are part of many private and corporate collections.
